is where few people get to visit. Journey north to the remote beauty of Acheron Island, where pristine waters, vibrant reefs and untouched island landscapes create an an unforgettable day of adventure that feels a world away.

As part of your booking process please take the time to read the following:

​Snorkelling and water activities can be a strenuous activity and may increase the health and safety risks if you are suffering from any medical condition that may be made worse by physical activity. If you have a medical condition that we need to know about please advise Aquascene crew, or advise the office at time of booking. You will be emailed a waiver form that we require each guest to complete prior to your tour.

Departs from Magnetic Island Marina - Nelly Bay

Your day tour includes:
  • Travel around the stunning coastline visiting  secluded bays and beaches of ​Magnetic Island
  • Visiting the secluded "5 Bays" on the northern side of the Island (weather permitting)
  • Swim / Paddleboards / Beach time / Snorkel ​(we design our tour around the tides and conditions on the day to ensure you have the best experience possible)
  • ​​Keep watch for turtles, dolphins, rays, seabirds and other marine life that call these waters home.
  • Water activities for all ages!​

Travelling to Magnetic Island from Townsville

​PLEASE NOTE -
Do not confuse Sealink North Queensland Ferry (passengers only), with Magnetic Island Ferries (vehicles and passengers), they are two different companies that depart from two different locations and times.
Catching the passenger ferry from Townsville
If catching the Sealink ferry from Townsville, please be sure to catch the 
7.45-am departure from Townsville to connect with our tour departure time. 
If you miss the ferry from Townsville we are unable to wait for you to catch the next ferry to Magnetic Island.

Car parking and motorhome parking is available at the Sealink Ferry Terminal.
(A fee applies, pay at the carpark or at the Sealink ticket desk in Townsville)
Catching the car ferry from Townsville
If travelling with Magnetic Island Ferries with your vehicle, please check that your times allow you to connect with our tour.

Nelly Bay Car Park
Car parking is available at the Magnetic Island car park as you arrive on to Magnetic Island to park and then join us for your tour. (No fee at the Magnetic Island car park however it can be full on certain days of the week, so allow yourself extra time to find nearby parking in Nelly Bay.)

Where to meet us on Magnetic Island

NELLY BAY DEPARTURES - 8.30 am
Meet us  in front of Peppers Resort Restaurant (Nelly Bay) on the boardwalk area, a short 1 minute walk to the left of the Nelly Bay ferry terminal.  You will see our Aquascene A-Frame sign located on the far corner of the boardwalk area and our friendly Aquascene crew will meet you there and escort you to our boat ready to start your day of fun.
