Aquascene are proud of their abilities to tailor make our tours to be inclusive for all ages and abilities, including guests living with disability.
Wheelchair / Walker access to Aquascene and whilst onboard.
Aquascene cannot accommodate motorised wheelchairs at present.
If the guest has the ability to be assisted up one step and onto the vessel, we can have the guest’s wheelchair ready for them once on the vessel.
Aquascene vessels only have one main deck area which is spacious for wheelchair and mobility aids.

- There is wheelchair / mobility aid access to the Magnetic Island Marina and to Aquascene vessels.
- The Aquascene vessels are spacious enough for a wheelchair / mobility-aids / prams onboard.
- Aquascene vessels have a toilet located at the rear of each vessel with private toilet area and support rail.
- Aquascene vessels are very stable with shaded and protected deck areas.
- We have areas for quiet space.
- Great views from the deck areas to all the sights during the tour.
Easy access in and out of the water
We have drop down stairs that go into the water with good hand rails for support. This allows guests with mobility challenges/living with disability to sit on steps and swim directly into the water.

We have a very safe, rigid and sturdy pontoon that is beautifully designed to accommodate guests that may have swimming or mobility challenges or just want the comfort of being guided by our reef guides.
We call this "cheating snorkelling!"
